Michael Berman is the founder and CEO of Ncontracts. His extensive background in legal and regulatory matters has afforded him unique insights into solving operational risk management challenges and is driven by the Ncontracts mission to efficiently and effectively manage operational risk. During his legal career, Mr. Berman was involved in numerous regulatory and compliance issues, contract management challenges, and assisted in the development of information systems to better manage these efforts. Prior to founding Ncontracts, he was General Counsel for Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Tecniflex, Inc. and Imagic Corporation. Mr. Berman is a well-regarded speaker at financial institution conferences on risk management.



Ncontracts – Risk Solutions Architect
Michael Carpenter is a Solutions Architect at Ncontracts after having built solid expertise in all facets of risk management throughout his 20-year career. Some of the roles he has held during his career include Chief Risk Officer, BSA Officer, Compliance Officer, and Information Security Officer. He has built and run programs such as ERM, Board of Director training/reporting, BSA/AML, ID Theft and Red Flags, Information Security,  and Compliance Management Systems – making him an indispensable resource in helping FIs understand the need, as well as providing support for the application of best practices, for all aspects under the risk management umbrella. He has worked in both small community and large institutions. 



Ncontracts – Senior Business Advisor, Risk Management Services

As Senior Business Advisor, Risk Management Services Steve manages professional business continuity service delivery in conjunction with client implementation of Ncontracts’ Ncontinuity solution. Steve has over 30 years’ experience assisting FIs, large and small, with business continuity development and consulting services. Prior to joining Ncontracts, Steve served as VP and Principal Owner of Blair Technology Group; a firm specializing in information technology and business continuity consulting services primarily for community FIs. Steve is a certified business continuity professional and is a frequent speaker on the topic of business continuity for FIs.



TRUPOINT Partners – VP, Relationship Management

Justin has worked with more than 1,000 banks, CUs, mortgage companies and auto finance organizations to implement and maintain compliance solutions for: OFAC, CIP, compliance training, Reg CC, AML, CRA, redlining and fair lending. Today, he specializes in fair lending, redlining and CRA regulatory consulting including: risk assessments, comparative analysis, regression modeling and geospatial/dot density analysis. Taking into account a client’s unique organizational structures and identifying compliance risk, he helps to implement data analysis and risk assessments, explain the results and provide risk mitigation strategies.



Ncontracts – VP of Compliance
Stephanie Lyon directs Ncontracts’ compliance program, which includes product development and content. Prior to joining Ncontracts, she was a senior compliance counsel at NAFCU where she advised over 800 financial institutions on compliance-related topics. While at NAFCU, she served as a faculty member for the NAFCU Compliance School and the Bank Secrecy Compliance Seminar and is a well-regarded public speaker at industry functions. She is a frequent author on compliance and risk management topics. Ms. Lyon got her start in the industry by serving in key roles at financial institutions in risk management, compliance and BSA operations.

Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, after which registrations will be held on a waiting list. No refunds after August 28 – attendees will have the option of receiving a credit to be used towards a future Ngage event or sending a substitute attendee. Your company will be invoiced for the cost of registration.
